Some measures, such as applying a cold compress to the head, having a strong coffee or having a relaxing massage, can help treat headache or be a good alternative for people who cannot take medication.
The cold compress should be applied to the forehead or the neck, allowing to act for 5 to 15 minutes. Cold contributes to the constriction of blood vessels, reducing headache.

For pregnant women, the remedy for headache that is usually indicated is paracetamol, which despite not harming the baby, its use should only be done under the guidance of the obstetrician.
