Pomegranate juice and apple cider vinegar are good examples of home remedies that can complement the medical treatment of trichomoniasis, as they have antiparasitic properties, which can help eliminate the parasite responsible for trichomoniasis, which causes inflammation, discharge and itching.
However, although it is effective in reducing symptoms, natural treatment does not replace antibiotics, such as metronidazole, which can be indicated by the gynecologist, in the case of women, and by the urologist, in the case of men. Home remedies are a complement to accelerate recovery and relieve symptoms, not a cure, because only with the use of remedies indicated by the doctor can the parasite be eliminated completely. See how trichomoniasis is treated with medicines.
